Last week, ADRIAN Hoteles participated in the “Circular Tourist Communities (CTC)” project day, organized by Ashotel and Asaga Canarias at the Tourism Innovation Factory (FIT Canarias), in Adeje.

During the event, we learned about the latest advances of the project, which has already managed 2,800 tonnes of bio-waste and generated 980 tonnes of high-quality compost. We also explored how digitalization and artificial intelligence in hotel kitchens help optimize waste management and reduce food waste.

In addition, the day was a space to exchange experiences with other hotels and entities in the sector, identifying new opportunities to continue advancing in the circular economy and tourism sustainability.
