Since the beginning of 2019, at Adrián Hoteles we have added our commitment to the environment, switching to green energy for 100% of our electricity consumption.
In our 3 Hotels, Jardines de Nivaria, Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel and Colón Guanahaní, we have been working for more than a decade on the conservation of the environment, backed by the different international certificates in Environmental Management that all our hotels are proud to have: ISO 14001, EMAS and Travelife Gold.
As a result, we have managed to control and reduce consumption, year on year, by implementing actions that have contributed to this, for example in the case of electricity consumption; with the installation of solar panels, heat pumps and the incorporation of LED luminaire, in all our establishments.
Likewise, we have calculated our Carbon Footprint in order to know the CO2 emissions generated by our activity and therefore reducing its impact on the environment. This reduction will be appreciated to a greater extent throughout this year, with the recent switch to green energy.
Aware of the current contamination problems of single-use plastics, at Adrián Hoteles, we are committed to a campaign for which its maximum priority is not only its reduction but its total disappearance. In the same way, we are working to further facilitate internal measures for the correct waste segregation according to its typology, through staff awareness and encouraging their involvement, as well as the adaptation of our facilities to achieve our objectives.
At Adrián Hoteles we are committed and convinced that we must all collaborate together in the conservation and protection of our environment. For that reason not only do we invite our internal and external clients to participate in our environmental initiatives, but we also encourage our suppliers and collaborating companies to do the same, thus generating global awareness to ensure a sustainable future.
