Astronomy fans be aware! On 28th September, you have a date under the stars in Tenerife. The Canarian island will be one of the best places to look at the total lunar eclipse that will happen that night.
At that time, the Earth’s shadow will eclipse the Moon. The phenomenon will be more spectacular because the celestial body will reach its maximum approach to the planet. That is why we will see the Moon 14% bigger and 30% brighter than usual. Moreover, during the solar twilight, the eclipse will be lined up with Teide’s shadow. This will make the event more unique and amazing.
The eclipse will be broadcast for a group of experts on the Sky Live website from Teleférico del Teide’s upper station.
